Old school: My Girl

I like oldies, so here's my cover of My Girl originally sang by The Temptations. Not like I have a girl to sing about or anything, but oh well...

I slaughtered Chris Daughtry

Haha..my attempt at singing Over You by Chris Daughtry. Imagine a zombie singing and you're not that far off...Key is too low for me. But who cares, I still like the song

Jejak Langkah

I'm so annoyed with the pile of assignments in front of me. Can't it just do itself? I'm so flustered to the extent that I'm singing in Malay to soothe my nerves. I recorded it. It's Jejak Langkah by Tohpati. What next, Mandarin or Cantonese songs?

Be Glorified

Originally by Chris Tomlin. Had a bit of time on my hands (and a guitar), so I recorded this short clip.

I dedicate it to no one else but the Creator.

Everything Fades Away

I'm a bit depressed, so I wrote this song to pass the time. The chords are for guitar obviously.

And an early recording:

Everything Fades Away

V1

E A
The storm clouds gathering
B A
Little Voices telling me that
C#m B A B
The future's quit smiling back at me

E A
Joy's sitting in a prison cell
B A
Suffering's out on a long parole
C#m B A B
When will justice come on back

V2

E A
The shades of fear and hate
B A
Starts rearing its ugly head
C#m B A B
Will forgiveness cease to prevail

E A
My tongue's a lashing whip
B A
Belts out all hostility
C#m B A B
It's victims are closest to me

Pre-chorus:

F#m B
I wonder if I'll make it
F#m B
And finish this race called life

Chorus:

C#m A B
But when I'm in your presence
C#m F#m B
Everything fades away
C#m A B
You pick me up when i've fallen
F#major A
And give me hope to believe

Audioblog: Better Together

Trust me, I'm not so into singing. But I can't help but like Jack Johnson's Better Together. So, hear this pirated malaysian cover by me:

Thanks Christine for lending me your guitar.

And for the laydees, the fumbling sound in the background is of gary changing :P

My Tribute to the Nice Guys

Haha, girls, dont feel offended!

This audioblog tribute was inspired by Charmaine's and Robin's posts about nice guys finishing last.

Do feel free to flame me. I'm ready :P

I am a Malaysian

I feel strangely patriotic/malaysian today. This is based on the "I am a Canadian" commercial for Molson Beer. Enjoy!

DIY Recording Studio

Only 2 weeks till uni semester begins again. I can't wait!

What to do if you have:

A) A bored geezer

B) An old acoustic guitar

C) A pair of drumsticks (not of the edible variety preferably)

D) A mac with Garageband software

E) An hour to spare

Create some sound, ya'll!! Rough around the edges...my first sample. Nothing more than a simple riff, repeated. Em, C, G, D

Aptly named "crap". Coudn't think of anything else to name it. Enjoy!
